There is an agenda for sure. They are spoon feeding what they want us to hear and they are trying to divide us. If they pit us against each other we won’t pay attention to what is really going on.

So many people happy to stay in their comfort bubble. They don't question anything and most believe the MSM. It's so obvious to me They love to keep us in fear . I'm not listening to any of the lies. Just doing what makes me happy because life's to short isn't it 😊

It's all about the money. Main stream media is owned and therefore say what they are told to say.

I was a bit confused about which bit of news in particular you were ranting about. Some media outlets are way more reliable than others, for sure. I generally trust the Guardian. I don’t trust many politicians but I do have faith there are good forces in the world as well as the obvious malign ones. Kitchen is coming along nicely . I’ve been decorating too! Hot weather for it.

"They" (at least here in the U.S.) want us to focus on things that are addictive: legalized weed, sports betting, compulsive shopping, feelings of outrage, false religions, food, fear... I could go on and on. I realize that it's late in life for me to discover a major poet, however....I've discovered John Keats. At age 25 he had hundreds of times more wisdom than the vast majority of middle aged Americans. Because he allowed himself to see things as they are.

I know I’m like an ostrich with its head in the sand but I just can’t listen to them anymore. I’m prepared as much as I can be for the outcome of this nonsense and now I’m going for a walk on my tiny piece of the world😂

The kitchen looks so light and airy now! I don't know about Irish media, but here in US the main media stations are all owned by the same corporation now. Newspapers as well. So, absolutely, we are being fed only what they want us to hear.

news media in the US is a farce there are a few lndipendent people i listen to very few i trust

journalism, true journalism, seems to be dead. Reporting the facts, is long gone it seems. these days they are all political hacks. it has been that way here 🇨🇦 for far too long. it may have something to do with government bail outs. and the globalization of information sources and one controlled perspective. No one thinks for themselves and if they do... they are cancelled. (crapology? spot on!) the kitchen looks great!

Firstly love the kitchen it looks amazing, hope your feeling new positivity with this healing colour, today is 6 weeks in recovery (almost as next Monday will be the official time) and although energy is low from the healing process I am enlivened by the fact I can start gardening soon, dealing with health issues can also be a way of processing the crap and stress in life, removing it, and bringing light into your world, turn off and tune out, but I wish for people that you all find peace and happiness without going through a difficult health crisis, life is difficult, but todays media make it so much worse, the noise from it designed to creat fear hate, let that crap go, breath and see the beauty around you, create that beauty and live it

Never apologize for your rants. They are needed. We ALL must remain vigilant as society continues to devolve into...I know not what. I love your acronym...Mainstream Media Crapology. Because that's what it is: we are being fed OPINIONS, not the Truth. A lie told often enough becomes the truth for so many, and this is where the common sense you mention comes into play. That said, your kitchen is coming along. It picks up all the yellows in your landscape and brings them inside to bathe your in their calmness.

The yellow is so cheery and refreshing...makes me want to paint my kitchen yellow, I've been torn between a gardeny green and a sunny yellow! MSM paid by the multi-millionaires (won't mention any names) to lie.

I'm in a place where we are lucky to have very good radio and local paper news. Its very local but the journalists all live here and the stories matter as much to them as to us. We are very fortunate in this. All the big media is owned by so very few people who have vested interests. SO crazy. I will never miss your rants!

True dat. Meanwhile we keep having item after item in the "news" about "celebrities" - be they film stars, influencers, "royalty", whatever. So I sit there and think "Why would I be any more interested in that person than any other person - and meanwhile what is the actual real News?".

Love it! The mainstream media is corporate owned and therefore monetized. That is the problem with MSM, Collette.

WE all need a good rant on a regular basis these days! I would rather listen to your lovely voice rant than watch the news. I have to limit myself to how much news I watch. The corporate greed is disgusting and politicians are doing NOTHING about it. I am often grateful that my parents are not around to see what this world has come to. I know they would be heartbroken.

I used to read various types of print media: national papers, news magazines, but these are no longer in my budget. Public radio, tv, (government funded)is government influenced. On line print media is mostly blocked unless one pays for monthly subscription. Now I just keep up with news in my little place in the world and tune into a few UA-cam creators.
